TIBÁ offers 4 apprenticeship places for the duration of a 5 week period, beginning on April 15, 2012. The apprentice is expected to work 8 hours a day from Monday until Friday, 7am to 5pm and Saturday until 11am, in total 44 hours per week.
We receive apprentices to work with us in construction, maintenance and the growth of TIBÁ. We expect people who would like to experience TIBÁ's lifestyle.
We offer this apprenticeship program as an open platform where people can learn and experiment in nature. To regain the contact and balance that we humans should keep with our surroundings is our goal.
The candidates for the Apprenticeship Program need to transfer R$ 1000,00 for room and board.
The candidate should also read carefully the "2012 Apprenticeship Program Guidelines" and send us his/her Curriculum Vitae with a picture and a letter of intent, telling clearly the reason she/he would like to take part in TIBÁ's program. This letter should include, if possible, information about any experience regarding construction, conservation, community work, volunteer work, ecology, renewable energy, permaculture, agroforestry, bio architecture and similar or special skills. Send to: aprendiz@tibarose.com .
